Every Day I Write the Book documents the mundane tasks of writing a dissertation. Activities include walking to class, looking at a computer, friendly acknowledgement of colleagues, making photocopies, sitting in a chair, checking mailbox on campus, staring out library window, walking on carpet, note-taking, riding in an elevator, and sometimes choosing the stairs. The excitement was endless. With Logan Esdale when he was a doctoral student at SUNY Buffalo.
